Who is on my quorum court?

Arkansas quorum courts — all 75 counties, free, by address, ZIP, or a tap on the map.

Every Arkansas county is governed by a county judge and a quorum court. The county judge runs the county and presides over the quorum court without a vote. The court is the county's legislative body: it adopts the budget, sets the county's property tax and passes its ordinances, and it has 9, 11, 13 or 15 justices of the peace, one elected from each district. The lookup finds your district and names its justice of the peace wherever a source says who sits for it.

What the lookup shows

Select any point in Arkansas and the quorum court district card names your district and its county, the justice of the peace who sits for it wherever a source says who that is, and the county judge who presides over the court. The county card names the county judge with the office telephone, and lists every justice on the court.

Where nothing this project reads says who sits for a district, the card says why and names no one, rather than guessing.

Where the names come from

No state office publishes the justices of the peace by district. The Association of Arkansas Counties publishes a page for each county that lists its justices, but not which district each one sits for. So a district's justice is named in one of two ways. Twenty counties publish their own list of the court by district, and those counties' districts are named from it. Everywhere else, a district is named from the association's results of the November 2024 election, and only while the association's current list for that county still includes the winner. A district whose winner has left the court, or whose winner's name cannot be matched with certainty, says so and names no one.

Each county judge is named from the Arkansas Judiciary's directory of county judges and clerks. Where it and the association named different judges, a third source was read, and in each of those counties the directory was the one out of date.

Each county's page says the day its names were read. Every seat on the court, and every county judge's office, is elected at the general election of 3 November 2026 for a term that starts on 1 January 2027, and every county will be read again in January 2027.

Where the boundaries come from

The district lines come from the state's own map of every county's justice of the peace districts, which the Arkansas GIS Office publishes and credits to the Secretary of State, and the county lines from the U.S. Census Bureau. Every source is on the sources & data layers page.

Not for legal or official use. Boundary and officeholder data come from public sources that explicitly disclaim legal precision. Confirm district assignments and officeholders with your county before relying on them for anything official.
