What the lookup shows
Select any point in the city and the supervisor card shows the district number that covers it and the supervisor who holds the seat, with their office and contact details where the city publishes them.
Every other district covering the same point is listed beside it — your police district, neighborhood, California State Senate and Assembly districts, U.S. House district, BART director district, and school zones.
Supervisor district vs. neighborhood
They are different things. A supervisor district is an electoral boundary redrawn after each census to hold equal population; a neighborhood is one of the city's 41 analysis areas used for planning and statistics. A single district usually spans several neighborhoods, and the map shows both at once when you toggle both layers.
Where the boundaries come from
District boundaries and the supervisor roster come from the city's own published data; the map names no officeholder it cannot cite. It is free, requires no login, and sets no tracking cookies.
Who represents each supervisor district
All 11 seats on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, as this site had them on September 11, 2026. The map above reads the same roster, so a card and this table cannot disagree — but a table is a claim about a day, and this one names its day.
