New Orleans City Council
Every member of the New Orleans City Council, as the Louisiana Secretary of State's list of elected officials prints them.
Orleans Parish and the City of New Orleans share one government, and its governing body is the New Orleans City Council. Of its 7 members, 5 are elected from districts and 2 by the whole city. The mayor, Helena Moreno, is elected by the whole city and is not a member of the council. This page lists every district and the member who holds it as the Louisiana Secretary of State's list of elected officials prints them, and the map's Parish card reads the same list. The list gives every member's term as ending on January 13, 2030.

districtry is an independent, unofficial civic reference. It never guesses at who holds a seat: every name above is printed in the Louisiana Secretary of State's list of elected officials, and where the list names no one for a seat this page says so rather than filling the gap.
