Who is my county supervisor?

Mississippi boards of supervisors — all 82 counties, free, by address, ZIP, or a tap on the map.

Every Mississippi county is run by a board of five supervisors. Each supervisor is elected from one of the county's five districts, which some counties call beats. The lookup names your county's five supervisors and, in the counties where this app has confirmed the current district lines, the one who represents the point you picked.

What the lookup shows

Select any point in Mississippi and the county card names your county, its five supervisors with the district or beat each was elected from, the board's office where the directory prints one for the whole board, and the county's five election commissioners.

In the counties where this app has confirmed the current district lines, the supervisor district card names the one supervisor for the point you picked, and the election commissioner elected from the same district. In the other counties that card does not appear, rather than draw lines that may be out of date.

Where the names come from

The Mississippi Secretary of State publishes the County Offices and Directory once a year. It lists every county's five supervisors by district or beat, and its five election commissioners. Each county's page below says which edition its names come from, so a change on a board can take until the next edition to appear here, and a seat the directory lists as vacant is shown as vacant.

The Secretary of State's election calendar lists county supervisors among the offices elected at the general election of November 2, 2027.

Where the boundaries come from

The county lines come from the U.S. Census Bureau, which also maps every county's supervisor districts but has changed only some counties' maps since the 2020 census. So this app draws a county's districts only where it has confirmed the lines are current: the Census Bureau's own map where the Census changed it after the 2020 census and the five districts hold nearly equal numbers of people in that census, or a newer map published online for the county, with evidence that it is the current plan, redrawn along the 2020 census blocks. Each county's page says which. Every source is on the sources & data layers page.

Not for legal or official use. Boundary and officeholder data come from public sources that explicitly disclaim legal precision. Confirm district assignments and officeholders with your county before relying on them for anything official.
