Anywhere in New York that is your county, city or town, school district, judicial district, U.S. House district and both State Legislature districts. In the five boroughs it also covers your City Council district, community district and board, NYPD precinct and sector, community school district and zoned schools. Each one comes with who represents you in it, wherever a source names them.

The city-only layers — City Council, community board, NYPD precinct and the DOE school zones — hide themselves outside the five boroughs rather than answering with nothing. County legislature and town board members are not carried yet: New York counties are governed in three different forms and no statewide roster of those seats has been found, so the county card links the state association of counties instead of naming people it cannot check.

Community Education Council members are not currently listed: no roster the app can verify is published in a form it reads, so that card links the council rather than naming people it cannot check.

Both are New York City offices, held borough-wide. Select a point in the city and the app names the borough it falls in, its Borough President, and the District Attorney whose office covers it. Outside the city both cards stand down rather than answering with nothing.
