What county commissioner district am I in?

Oklahoma county commissioner district lookup — all 77 counties, free, by address, ZIP, or a tap on the map.

Every Oklahoma county is run by a board of three county commissioners, and each commissioner is elected from one of the county's three districts. State law sets the same form for all 77 counties, 231 districts in all. The lookup finds the district that covers any point in the state and names the commissioner the State Election Board lists for it.

What the lookup shows

Select any point in Oklahoma and the commissioner district card shows the district, its county, the commissioner the State Election Board's roster lists for it, and the county's information line. The county card lists all three of the county's commissioners.

Two seats name nobody because the roster listed them as vacant: Oklahoma County District 1 and Okmulgee County District 1. The card says so.

Where the names come from, and what they are not

After each general election the Oklahoma State Election Board publishes a Roster of State and County Officers. Commissioners serve four-year terms on a staggered schedule, and the roster lists all three of every county's commissioners, whether or not their seat was on that year's ballot. The newest edition was compiled after the November 5, 2024 general election. The roster is checked every week, and a new edition is picked up the week it is posted.

The roster is a snapshot, not a list the counties keep up to date. A commissioner who has resigned, or someone appointed to fill a vacancy since, does not appear until the next edition. Your county can say who holds the seat today.

Where the boundaries come from

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation publishes all 231 commissioner districts in one statewide map, and that is the map drawn here. A second copy of the same map, kept by the University of Oklahoma, is compared on every rebuild. The two agree everywhere except Beaver County, where they draw the line between Districts 1 and 2 differently over about 28 square kilometres, and the card says so there. Every source is on the sources & data layers page.

Not for legal or official use. Boundary and officeholder data come from public sources that explicitly disclaim legal precision. Confirm district assignments and officeholders with your county before relying on them for anything official.

Every board of commissioners, county by county

Every Oklahoma county whose roster this project has: 77 counties, 229 people, each name from the Oklahoma State Election Board's Roster of State and County Officers, compiled after the general election it is dated to.
