Danville City Council
Every member of the Danville City Council, as the Virginia Department of Elections' results name them.
Danville City is an independent city, which belongs to no county, and the Danville City Council is its governing body. Every member is elected at large, by the whole city. Each name is the winner of an election in the Virginia Department of Elections' results, dated beside it. A result names who won, not who sits now, so a member appointed to a vacancy is not named until an election fills the seat. The map's County or City card reads the same file. The school board is a separate body, and the map's County or City card says who sits on it.
See Danville City on the map →Opens the map with the County or City layer on, whose card names every member of the city council. A body elected at large has no districts, so its members represent the whole city.

districtry is an independent, unofficial civic reference. It never guesses at who holds a seat: every name above won an election in the Virginia Department of Elections' results or is listed on the county's or city's own website, and where neither settles a seat this page says so rather than filling the gap.
