Norfolk City Council
Every member of the Norfolk City Council, as the Virginia Department of Elections' results name them.
Norfolk City is an independent city, which belongs to no county, and the Norfolk City Council is its governing body. Its members are elected from 7 districts. Kenneth Cooper Alexander is the city's mayor, elected by the whole city on 5 November 2024. Each name is the winner of an election in the Virginia Department of Elections' results, dated beside it. A result names who won, not who sits now, so a member appointed to a vacancy is not named until an election fills the seat. The map's County or City and Supervisor or Council District cards read the same file. The school board is a separate body, and the map's County or City card says who sits on it.

districtry is an independent, unofficial civic reference. It never guesses at who holds a seat: every name above won an election in the Virginia Department of Elections' results or is listed on the county's or city's own website, and where neither settles a seat this page says so rather than filling the gap.
